There are currently five seasons in Hawaii. Five O. Seasons 1, 2, and 3 were set in Hawaii. Season 4 was established in Sydney, Australia. Season 5 would be the last season of this show as it will end when McGarrett retires from Interpol due to stress caused by his job after being betrayed by a woman whom he loved deeply but could not have because she had a heart condition that would eventually lead to her death if they married (I’m not kidding).
Season 2, set on Oahu, had a different cast than the other three seasons.

The Character Richard “Rick” Wright was introduced in Season 3 and will be the last character to appear.
Richard Wright is a former FBI agent and good friend of Magnum P.I., McGarrett, and Danny. He was introduced in Season 3 as an ally of McGarrett’s, who wanted to help stop Mr. Big (Bill Paxton).
Wright’s character was initially supposed to be played by Robert Wagner, but he became too busy with other projects, so the role went to Tom Sizemore instead.

In the fifteenth episode of season 1, titled “Devil Takes a Vacation,” Danny and Kono track down a rogue agent who plans to kill his superior.
